Yong-Xue Sun,Male,Born in May, 1969, Chongyang county, Hubei province, Ph.D.in Agriculture, Professor, Postgraduate tutor. Assistant Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine. 

Associate Director of the Safety Evaluation(environmental assessment)of National Veterinary Drug Lab(South China Agricultural University), As Committee member of China Animal Toxicology, and Committee member of China Aquatic Laboratory animals, etc

He received the Master's degree in veterinary pharmacology and toxicology direction in May, 1995 at Animal Medicine Department of South China Agricultural University, where he decided to stay to teach. He received a Ph.D Degree in Basic Veterinary Medicine in 2003 at South China Agricultural University. He was promoted to a professor in 2012. 

Yong-Xue Sun mainly engaged in doing his research in veterinary toxicology, the safety evaluation of veterinary drug and ecotoxicology. He conducted a series of research work of the ecotoxicology in veterinary drugs and additives. He has chaired and participated in research projects at different levels 11 or more than 10 times, respectively, which include National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC), International Cooperative Program, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, Scientific and technical projects of Guangdong Province, the Special Project of Public Welfare Profession)(Agriculture) respectively, and so on. 

He has published more than 60 papers, SCI includes 25, successively published papers 18 by the first author or the communication author. Attained two item of monopolies authorization. He edited in chief of one of the national veterinarians exam reference book, taken part in the translation of veterinary pharmacology translation “Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics”(the ninth edition), participated in writing“Veterinary Medicine Manual”and national twelfth five-year textbooks“Animal Toxicology”respectively. He has won two First Prize award of Science and Technology of Guangdong province (2006, 2015).
